A passerby heard the infant crying at about 9:45 p.m. that Saturday and called 911, Bensalem police said. Officers forced their way into the gray Lexus, which was in a remote area of the parking lot far from the casino entrance. The temperature outside the vehicle was more than 88 degrees. Bensalem Public Safety Director Fred Harran later described the boy’s condition as hot and sweaty, but otherwise good.

Police and casino security officials tried to locate the boy’s parent, who approached the car a short time later. He was identified as Danny Ngo, 44, of the 700 block of Adams Ave. Investigators determined that Ngo had been in the casino for about 40 minutes. He was charged with reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.

He was initially remanded to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail. Last Friday, bail was reduced to $5,000. Ngo posted 10 percent of that amount and was released. A preliminary hearing has not been scheduled. ••
